Firstly this month we would like to say a great big welcome to Murrays Estate Agents and HRML who are officially signed up to stand up and being counted with The Door. It’s great to have them on board and we look forward to working with them.
Secondly, we are looking for businesses provid us with some practical help. We had great support at the start of 2016 from Ecotricity and TSB, who sent over working parties to help us decorate our buildings and smarten them up in time for our 25th anniversary celebrations. We’re now particularly keen to hear from any electricians or plumbers who might be prepared to do some ‘in kind’ or discounted work for us either on an ongoing or one-off basis, and some handy people willing to spare a few hours occasionally to do ‘odd jobs’ at The Door.
If you fit into any of these categories, this could be a great opportunity for you to help the work of The Door by doing something that you’re good at (and we’re not!), helping us to keep our costs down and focus our resources as much as possible on helping young people.
