“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:1-4

Reasons to be thankful

Our fundraising concert on Friday raised over £300.

We have received funding to enable us to continue some of our cooking sessions after half term.

Praise God!

As they head off to their ‘Into the Wild’ residential, please pray for a safe trip and amazing encounters for the illuminate young people and team.

Please continue to pray that our applications made to trusts and commissioning bodies are successful.

Friday 2nd June
Today please pray for the young people and parents being matched with a mentor for the first time.

Saturday 3rd June
As the team pick up paint brushes to revamp our staff spaces, please pray for a successful morning.

Sunday 4th June
Today please pray that the right applicants will come forward for the Bid Writer role, and for our current volunteer vacancies.

Monday 5th June
Please pray for the Gloucestershire Mentoring Programme team as they meet for their monthly forum this morning.
