Youth Clubs are OPEN this Summer
We’re excited to be getting back to ‘normal’ and are delighted to share with you the plans our Community Youthwork Team have for the summer holidays.
Although there are no trips this year (due to COVID!) there are still plenty of exciting activities planned for young people to get involved with across the District.
Headlining our summer are BRAND NEW events for 2021:
‘Party in the Park’
Bringing together everything you love about youth clubs and taking them into our communities. made possible by funding from the Gloucestershire HAF fund there will be everything from football and rounders to arts, crafts and glitter face painting. We’re also working with illuminate to provide a chill-out space and The Door’s very own Merch Shop.

Full details of each event can be found on Facebook or by following your local team on Instagram
As well as Party in the Park our Stroud, Stonehouse, Cam, Dursley and Wotton youth centres will also be open for sessions throughout the 6 weeks. Community Youthwork Coordinator Kathleen tells us what’s in store:
“We have been working with the young people in all of our centres to plan activities that they want to do throughout the summer. In Stroud and Stonehouse they have planned a Mario cart tournament, Pizza night, Nerf wars, and craft days! Cam, Dursley and Wotton are looking Forward to Youth Cafés, Karaoke and music nights, Water fights, Picnics and much more. It’s going to be a jam-packed summer of fun!”
