In line with recent government guidance for retail we are delighted to have been able to throw open the doors of The Door Shop once more and welcome our amazing customers and supporters back to shopping with us in Stroud and turning second hand donations into funds for The Door’s much needed work.
Yes, there’s duct tape lines on the floor, hand sanitiser at the door and we have sadly had to close our toy department for the time being but there is still a huge range of clothes, books and bric a brac available in store as well as our range of new goods – incense and candles.
We are also open for donations but please do read our donation check list before you visit:
- Are we open? See times below or on Facebook @DoorShopStroud
- Can we accept your donations? Due to COVID-19 we are unable to accept our usual range of items. As well as our usual list we are currently unable to accept furniture, soft furnishing or toys – a full list can be found here. Best to check before you come to avoid dissapointment.
- Is it safe and secure? Please bring any and all donations in sealed plastic bags or taped up boxes that are not too heavy and won’t split or break.
So we’ve made a few changes to keep everyone safe and our donations process has changed a little but Anne, Lin, Owen and all our fabulous volunteers look forward to seeing you soon!
The Door Shop is Open: Monday – Friday: 10am-3pm, Saturday: 9am-2pm
