Charlotte our energy advice expert will be running an Energy Best Deal training session for  at the Cotswold CAB  offices in Cirencester at 10am on Friday 6th March.

EBD offers household energy consumers and advice workers information on getting a better deal on their energy bills by switching tariff or suppliers, help with paying bills and energy efficiency.  The session will last about an hour, come along and find out more about what options are available and how you can help your clients (or yourself, one recent participant saved more than £500 a year) Feedback and outcomes from previous sessions:

  • ​Just over half of the  consumers who looked for a better deal found one.
  • Forty eight per cent of consumers who  attended the session have taken some kind of action to save energy in their home, as a result of the session.
  • Ninety seven per cent of frontline workers said they felt better informed following the session.
  • Eighty one per cent of frontline workers said the session had changed their opinion on the importance of fuel poverty for the people they work with.
