Community Youthwork Coordinator

Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £23,118 to £25,955

The Door is a Christian youth charity, established in 1991 in Stroud, Gloucestershire for the benefit of all young people aged 11 to 25 and their families.  It’s a place where every young person and their parents can feel safe, happy and valued, with the best possible opportunity to reach their potential. The Door received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2017.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced youthworker to deliver our innovative community youthwork strategy in the Stroud area.

Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery, you would be responsible for running a team including a Community Youthworker and sessional youthworkers, working with them in youth centres, schools and detached street work, and engaging with community stakeholders.

You should have experience of delivering youthwork programmes, and be self-motivated and well-organised, with the ability to relate well to both young people and adult stakeholders.
