March has been a busy month for the youthwork team as they focused on Mental Health Awareness including #MentalHealthMonday, Den Building (as chill out spaces) and much more.

The team have had loads of great conversations about mental health with young people and have been able to share tips for managing their issues.

In Cam the team asked young people to say 3 things they each like about themselves and others using the ‘post it note challenge’.

In Dursley they ventured outside to learn about the effect of endorphins with young people sharing the ways in which they exercise.

Avening hosted it’s very own ‘trashion’ show using recycled materials to make their outfits and the young people also made emotion collages.

The Senior Youthworkers enjoyed a trip to London to learn about Mellow Parenting

In Stroud a number of the young people helped out at the street collection.

And finally the team would like to say goodbye to Oli who has moved on to pastures new.
