Annie is the Community Youthwork Coordinator for the Stroud area.

“Alongside my amazing team of sessional youthworkers and volunteers I run The Door’s 10 Stroud – based youth sessions including 6 youth club sessions, the Key Café and our aDOORable Young Parents Group. “

Annie also maintains The Door’s relationships with local stakeholders including the local authority, business owners and local residents.

We asked Annie about her role:

“I love my job! It is great to be part of a young person’s life – to be that sounding board, to help them with their direction, with their life. To be a positive influence in their lives giving them opportunities to see different aspects of the world. The young people make me laugh and it’s amazing to be trusted with their stories and worries”
