Twelve young people and two youthworkers from the Stroud Drop-in went on an amazing trip in the Easter break. They visited Jumptastic in Gloucester which put simply is a warehouse full of trampolines. Sam, our Community Youthworker for Cam and Dursley drove the minibus so the tunes were pumping and we had to listen to his singing all the way there!

We arrived in good time and the young people began by putting on the obligatory bright green socks while waiting for their safety briefing. Once that was finished they were off, bouncing, doing tricks, bouncing off the walls and I’m sure at one point one of them was flying. After an hour of bouncing and laughing they were all exhausted and ready for some refreshments. What better place to refuel than KFC. Once they all had their fill of chicken and ice-cream we were back on the minibus and on our way to Stroud.

The young people were still bubbling with how much they enjoyed it and have requested to go again the next half term. So if any young people would like to go on the 2nd June please do get in touch.

Fantastic Jumptastic!
