SPRING IS IN THE AIR…

PUT A SPRING IN YOUR STEP…

We have just seen the first official day of Spring and very soon the clocks will be springing forward into British Summer time. The World seams to rise from the winter slumber as people awaken to the thought of getting out in the fresh air.

The number runners that we will now spot out on the highways and byways will suddenly increase, as these enthusiastic athletes leave the safe sanctuary of their friendly gym and venture out for a change of scene.

The Race 4 All is an event that gives a focus to those that are keen runners, but also to those that just enjoy a bit of fun and a chance to help others. The event is open to all charities and all people, regardless of gender, age or ability.

Brendan Conboy, Chief Executive of The Door says, “We launched this event last year and it saw almost 100 people take part and supported five different Charities.

We are now hoping to double these figures, but we especially want to increase the amount that is raised for charities. We are hoping that local businesses would now want to sponsor the event and therefore reduce our event expenditure and increase their company profile.”

The race takes place on Sunday 8th June on Minchinhampton Common, starting next to the Golf Club (old course).

Spaces are limited, so an early entry is advised.
