The Drop In is a safe space for young people aged 11-17 to gain advice, support and access to our other services. We are open six days a week and provide a range of activities for young people to participate in. Activities include recreational activities; pool, darts, table tennis, cooking and karaoke nights. We also provide opportunities for young people to gain informal skills and confidence through helping out around the project, making cups of tea, communicating with other adults, handling money and much more.

We try to make The Drop-In feel like home – it is the young people’s space which we have the privilege to work in and alongside them. In fact young people often refer to The Door as their ‘family’. Our ethos is around relational youthwork – spending time to really get to know young people and their story, whether its the first time they’ve ‘dropped-in’, or the 100th.

#TheDoorOnTour:

During the school holidays we provide a series of affordable supervised day trips throughout half terms and the summer. These offer young people the opportunity to experience new things outside or Stroud. Past trips include Alton Towers, Cattle Country, Laser Tag, and Cadbury’s world.
