In October Half Term The Door’s youthwork team and young people went ‘on tour’ to Drayton Manor Theme Park. Isaac tells us a little bit about the day:
Almost 60 young people from across The Door’s youth clubs came with us on a trip to Drayton Manor! It was a really fun, action-packed day full of thrills. Some highlights included The Wave, Stormforce 10 (we all got quite wet), Gold Rush, and Accelerator (see picture).
For those in the group who weren’t big fans of roller coasters, the Drayton Manor Zoo was also really fun and provided lots of entertainment!
We’d like to give a huge thanks to The Door staff who organised this trip, and to all of the young people who signed up for it and made the day fun and enjoyable for everyone.
