MEET THE DOOR TEAM

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Following a successful career in Leadership Development, Victoria joined The Door team as Family Support Team Leader in 2011 and has held various roles until in 2021 she became CEO. In this role, she drives the strategic leadership of The Door and has specific oversight of income generation. She brings her own style of leadership to every part of The Door, enabling the team to be servant-hearted while providing high-quality support to secure the most effective outcomes.

Away from The Door, Victoria is an avid hiker, crocheter, gardener and loves to go camping in the summer to explore new remote places.

DIRECTOR OF SERVICE DELIVERY

Having caught the vision of The Door Chris joined the team in 2021 as Finance and  HR Assistant. Not long after he started, he became the manager of the youth work department at The Door including illuminate. Now Chris is the Director of Service Delivery with oversight of all our programs with young people. Chris uses his decades of experience in the sector to empower the team, ensure quality of delivery and explore exciting new areas of development.

Away from The Door, Chris is a proud Ireland rugby & Liverpool football fan and particularly enjoys hiking, bodyboarding, and tennis. He is also a campervanning enthusiast. Chris and his wife Heather have 2 children.  Together they belong to Thornbury Baptist Church and are passionate about supporting people in their local community and exploring faith. Chris is always willing to pray for anyone who would like it.

DELIVERY MANAGER

Teresa started at The Door as a volunteer mentor before becoming Administrator for the Gloucestershire Mentoring Programme (GMP). When GMP came to an end in 2025 Teresa stayed at The Door moving into a new role as one of our Intensive Support Coordinators for Young People, following a year of engaging with young people and families, Teresa stepped into the role of Service Delivery Manager.

Away from The Door Teresa loves to spend time in her camper van with a bit of wild swimming and is studying to become a qualified counsellor.

SENIOR YOUTH WORKER

Noah joined The Door team in November 2020 as a Sessional Youthworker in the Cam and Dursley Team before stepping up to become Community Youthworker  2021. Noah looks after youthwork in the Dursley area in centres and the community.

Away from The Door Noah spends a lot of time in a sports hall, playing basketball for the Stroud Sharks mens or coaching their youth teams. He also enjoys a hike in nature and some camping.

SENIOR YOUTH WORKER

Before working for The Door Willow was a leader at a local guides group. She joined The Door team in 2019 as a Sessional Youthworker, as part of the Stroud area team working in Stroud, Stonehouse and Avening as well as in Archway School. Following our 2021 restructure Willow became Pioneer Community Youthworker and is responsible for helping develop The Door's youthwork provision in new ways and in new areas. She loves to come up with new and interesting things to do in sessions and is willing to try anything! Willow is especially creative and is usually responsible for any arts and crafts taking place in sessions. In 2024 Willow took on the role of managing Youth Work in Stonehouse. Since then she has lead the "Pod Revamp", using her passion for interior design to empower young people to transform their youth club into a space that represents them. As well as working in The Pod, Willow delivers mentoring in Maidenhill School, supporting young people to identify and advocate for their needs.
Away from The Door Willow can often be found swimming or dying her hair a crazy colour. 

SENIOR YOUTH WORKER

Maddie joined the team in 2024. She recently completed a masters degree in Forensic Mental Health in Nottingham and Before this completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with Sociology. Since joining the door Maddie has started working towards my level 2 and level 3 in Youthwork.

Her interests include: Sustainability, the environment - she is always looking for ways to be more eco friendly in my day to day life. In addition to this she loves being outdoors going on long walks. Her mum lives in Devon so they love spending time by the coast together. Madison is also  an animal person and so lives in a household with lots of pets included cats, dogs, guinea pigs.

SENIOR YOUTH WORKER

Isak joined The Door team as a Sessional Youthworker in 2018 and stepped up into the role of Community Youthwork Coordinator for the Stroud area in 2019. Since 2025 Isak has taken on the role of illuminate youthworker and is responsible for delivering all things illuminate in Stroud and Dursley.

Before working for The Door Isak completed a placement with Student Ministries in Oxford working with both the universities and a number of churches.

Away from The Door Isak is a big sports fan, supporting both the Swedish and British National teams as well as local FGR. Isak is also a member of the Cotswold Players.

 

 

YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

Haz joined The Door team in 2023 as a Sessional Youthworker, bringing 7 years of experience volunteering at youth clubs and camps. Away from The Door, Haz enjoys travelling, gaming with friends, and all kinds of good food.

YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

Morgana rejoined The Door team in September 2025 as a sessional youth worker, having previously been part of both the Youth Work and Intensive Support teams in earlier years. Following our 2026 restructure she has now taken on a new role as the youth support worker for Stonehouse.

Since her last time with The Door, Morgana has completed an Art and Design course at the Bristol School of Art, developing her creative skills and passion for the arts.

Away from The Door, Morgana loves drawing and painting, working towards building her career as an artist alongside her youth work, and is interested in finding ways to bring the two together by weaving creativity into her work.

YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

Callum joined The Door team in November 2025

Callum is new to youth work and is currently studying towards a degree in Counselling alongside his work at The Door. He is passionate about learning how to better support young people.
Away from The Door, Callum enjoys travelling to Trading Card Game tournaments, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his partner and dog.

SWYM INTERN (iLLUMINATE)

Ed is currently studying with South West Youth Ministries and joined The Door team in September 2025 as an intern in the illuminate team.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Tracy joined The Door team in 2020 as a Sessional Youthworker in the Cam and Dursley Team. Her role is to support the lead youthworkers in sessions and to help them run smoothly. With over 20 years experience of working with young people Tracy is also a qualified therapeutic Counsellor and worked in this capacity in a Secondary School for eight years.

Away from The Door, Tracy is Community Support Officer for Jenner community at Rednock School, Mummy to Emily & Samuel. and if she ever has some free time, loves to bake, enjoys musical theatre and catching up with friends.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Tim joined The Door team in 2022 having lived in London and Bermuda, he settled in the Stroud area in 2010.

Tim has huge respect for  The Door and the invaluable work it has carried out over the past 30 years. He is delighted to now be playing a small part in helping to continue and further that work."

Away from The Door Tim is an author and former journalist.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Charlie joined the team in 2024 after doing work experience at The Door in 2023 before continuing volunteering and eventually becoming a sessional youth worker. They enjoy cooking (mainly pasta dishes) and photography. In future they are planning to study Psychology.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Francesca joined The Door as a Sessional Youthworker in 2021, her role is to support the session lead and the young people in the centres.  With a background in studying Child Care and Education she has a passion for helping young people in the local community.

As well as working at The Door Francesca is working on completing her college diploma and is going on to study neuroscience at university.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Maisie joined The Door team in 2024 as a volunteer in youth clubs. Since then she has stepped up to a paid role as Sessional Youthworker. She fits this in around her Forensic Psychology Degree.

SESSIONAL YOUTHWORKER

Adam started at The Door as a volunteer youth mentor in 2022 before stepping into a paid Sessional Youth Worker role in September 2025
Before working at The Door, Adam studied and worked in the land-based sector, where he was a skilled labourer for 15 years.

Adam brings with him lived experiences that are relatable to some of the young people The Door supports, giving him transferable life skills that offer a patient, understanding and compassionate outlook on some of the struggles young people may face in community, personal growth and their mental health.
Away from The Door, Adam enjoys long dog walks, gardening and reading.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mary joined The Door team in June 2025 as Director of Operations, bringing with her a wealth of operations experience. Before coming to The Door, Mary's career, predominantly in Higher Education has included responsibility for finance, HR, communications, fundraising, programme delivery and staff development.  She also spent a number of years as a University residential tutor supporting young people in their first year away from home. Mary is excited to be able to bring this experience to The Door and engaging with staff and young people.  
Away from The Door Mary attends Stroud Christian Fellowship and is also an accredited Methodist Local Preacher.  She plays violin in both worship and orchestras and enjoys sewing, spending time with friends and especially her two teenage children.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Anne started at The Door as a volunteer in The Door shop in 2013, since then she has completed a business administration apprenticeship in partnership with Stroud College and a Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing. Anne became Operations Manager in 2022 and joined the Senior Management team in 2024.  Anne manages The Door's marketing, databases, process and other behind the scenes systems. The other part of her role sees Anne organise The Door’s fundraising events and activities including street collections and concerts. She is also on hand to provide support for anyone raising money for The Door and as tech support to the staff team.

When she isn’t at The Door, Anne is secretary of both Churches Together in Stroud and Stroud Methodist Church, is a Director of Ignition Gloucestershire and in the summer can often be found volunteering at Festivals such as New Wine and Satellites and at the Fairford Air Show every July. 

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Antoinette joined The Door in 2023. As Development Manager, she leads The Door's work to secure sustainable funding through well-crafted bids, proposals, and project development, working closely with teams across The Door to understand emerging needs, shape ideas, gather evidence, and communicate the impact of our work with clarity and confidence.

With 30 years of senior experience in the skills, policy, and education sectors, Antoinette brings strong analytical skills and a talent for turning complex information into accessible, persuasive narratives. Her approach is thoughtful, detail-driven, and grounded in a deep commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

Away from The Door, Antoinette is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, having completed counselling training and becoming a certified Mental Health First Aider. Outside work, she enjoys walking, creative projects, time with family and friends, and exploring holistic approaches to wellbeing.

OPERATIONS OFFICER

Jill joined The Door in 2021 as Coordinator for the Gloucestershire Mentoring Programme, supporting girls and young women whose life experiences placed them at risk of becoming involved in crime. Following the Programme’s closure in 2025, she moved into the role of Intensive Support Coordinator for Young People before taking on a new role as Operations Officer as part of The Door’s reorganisation in 2026. In her current role, Jill is helping to grow The Door’s relationships with individual supporters, churches, local businesses and the wider community, and is focusing on developing sustainable community fundraising and individual giving. Jill is passionate about fairness, community, and improving outcomes for young people. She brings over 30 years’ experience in leadership and management across schools and local government, with a strong background in partnership working, service development and building trusted relationships.

Away from The Door, Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, usually accompanied by her young cocker spaniel, Ordie. She loves entertaining, always has a book and a creative project on the go, and enjoys pottering in the garden.

FINANCE AND HR ADMINISTRATOR (MAT LEAVE)

Stacey joined The Door team in 2022 as HR and Finance assistant. She enjoys working with numbers and is excited to be working for an organisation motivated by Christian values.

Away from The Door Stacey loves being outside and going on adventure with her 2 boys, attends Thornbury Baptist church and plays netball in the Avon league.

CLEANER

Peter had just been made unemployed when he was offered his job at The Door. Although he is not directly involved in any of the youthwork he has gained an appreciation for the work that's done by The Door. He also enjoys walking around the beautiful valleys and communicating via Amateur Radio.

THE DOOR SHOP MANAGER

Anne has been manager of The Door shop since 2012, and with the support of her team of shop assistants, takes on the task of running The Door’s charity shop in Stroud. As well as sorting donations and serving customers Anne looks after our wonderful team of shop volunteers.

Away from The Door Anne enjoys being creative which includes refurbishing her vintage dolls house and can often be found holidaying with her family in their Motorhome (even in the snow!)

THE DOOR SHOP ASSISTANT

Paddy volunteered with the door shop for 9 years before joining the staff team in 2023. He also does volunteer mentoring and can usually be found wearing bright and distinctive colours. He love cooking and has a chill personality with a good sense of humour.

Amber started out at The Door as a young person in youth club before volunteering in at The Door Shop after finishing school.  She joined the staff team in 2023 as a Shop Assistant, helping keep the shop running smoothly.

Away from The Door you can find Amber at Forest Green Rovers with her Dad.

THE DOOR SHOP ASSISTANT

Jonathan joined the shop team in 2024. When he is not at the Door he is listening to all genres of music. He also enjoys being a DJ and likes to watch football.

Ishaan is a volunteer mentor at The Door and joined the shop team in 2024.  He is friendly and approachable as well as being out-going. As well as this he is really into music and sports.

CHAIR

Tom Bradshaw

Tom is an academic, journalist and musician with extensive experience in higher education, both educationally and pastorally. He is an associate professor at the University of Gloucestershire. He has experience of devising and delivering communication strategies for charities and other organisations. A dad-of-three, he coaches children’s rugby and is also a volunteer reader at Minchinhampton Primary Academy. To relax he enjoys sport, and runs competitively for Cheltenham & County Harriers.

TREASURER

Graham Ayre

Graham qualified as a chartered accountant and has spent over 35 years working as both an external and internal auditor for major international organisations in the UK and overseas. Outside of his day job Graham is a governor at Brimscombe CofE Primary School and treasurer of Holy Trinity, Brimscombe Parochial Church Council. His interests include gardening and following sport.

Rosie Ogunseye

Rosie has been part of The Door family for many years, she starting coming to The Door as a young person in 2007 where her passion for youthwork began. Since then she has completed a Degree in Youthwork and is currently studying for her Masters. Rosie joined The Door team as a Sessional Youthworker in 2018 and stepped in as the Community Youthworker for the Wotton area for 6 months before taking a step back from delivery to join the board of Trustees.
Away from The Door Rosie is a Youthworker for ‘Youth Work Europe’ where she organises and attends training courses, conferences and youth exchanges around the world. Rosie also sits on the steering group for In Defence of Youthwork and is a council member for the Institute for Youthwork. If she ever has any spare time she loves baking and crafts. 

TRUSTEE

Patrick Tampkins

Originally a chemist, Patrick has worked for Renishaw plc, a Gloucestershire-based precision engineering firm, for most of the past 20 years. He has general management experience with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance, quality assurance and organisational change. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys road cycling, knitting and following the Green Bay Packers NFL team. Patrick is also a Trustee (Deacon) of Cirencester Baptist Church and is very excited to see The Door expanding deeper into the Cotswolds. 

TRUSTEE

Phillip Anley

After over twenty years of full time teaching, Phillip now provides learning experiences through his company, Flickernet Ltd. Phillip delivers a range of grant-funded projects that seek to meet the needs of underprivileged young people. As a Christian, Phillip seeks to respond to the grace and blessing that he has experienced, by providing opportunities for young people who need to find peace in their lives.  Currently Phillip is leading the InFindingOut initiative, which connects the Space To Learn facility in the Mountains of Mourne, Northern Ireland to a network of schools and organisations in England.  Phillip feels privileged to support The Door. He does this with the central aim of helping the team to reveal to every young person with whom they work, just how significant they really are.
