Answers to prayer

There are 20 brand new volunteers staring training this week (the most we have ever had on one course!)

The Door’s Staff team had a great morning together on Thursday catching up and celebrating the summer.

The Raft Race is full to bursting with teams!

Praise God!

 

Monday 9th September  

Today please pray for the health of The Door’s team. That as many of them take time off to refuel after the summer they may be refreshed and may have healing.

Tuesday 10th September

Today please pray for the year 7’s that are part of our Door Step programme that they can continue to make great connections in their new schools and engage with lessons.

Wednesday 11th September

Today please pray for the Youthwork team as they continue to manage the reaction to John leaving the team and Isak taking on a new role. For grace and patience.

Thursday 12th September  

Today please pray for staff in our local schools and colleges as they get stuck into a new school year. Pray for strong positive relationships with their students new and returning

Friday 13th September

Please pray for the Raft Race taking place on Sunday at Wallbridge lock that is raising funds for The Door – for good weather, lots of spectators and most importantly safety for everyone around the site.

Saturday 14th September 

Anne and Bev take on their 5k challenge today. Please pray they will be safe and have a great run. As well as raising lots of sponsorship.

Sunday 15th September

Engine Room returns today after a summer break. Please pray that youthworkers and parents will be able to bring along their young people to share in worship, prayer and fun together.
