About The Choirs:
The Pamoja Gospel Choir is a community choir based in Cheltenham run by the Salvation Community Church, Luc Bailey, and Peter and Elizabeth Browne. The word Pamoja is Swahili meaning ‘together’ or ‘oneness’ and represents the choir’s inclusive nature and desire to unite people through music. Everyone is welcome to join – all you need is a love of singing
The Gloucester and District Christian Choir was formed, under the Direction of Musical Director Pamela Dewick, nearly nineteen years ago, to support Roger Jones and Christian Music Ministries in the Gloucester Production of his musical, Snakes and Ladders.
The Choir has grown in those nineteen years to over 40 members. More than twenty different churches and many denominations are represented in the choir and members come from all parts of the County.
Rosary Catholic Primary School is a Catholic Voluntary Academy, with a strong Christian ethos set in extensive grounds tucked away on Beeches Green in Stroud. The School choir is made up of children in years 1 to 5 and is led by Catriona Pollard.
