June has been all about ‘next steps’ looking at volunteering, further education, careers and skills. Here’s what the team have been up to this month:
In Stonehouse the young people have been enjoying the football with screenings of all the England Games as well as playing lots of Uno.
In Avening the young people learned about the Emergency Services as part of learning about volunteers by building their own vehicles and buildings.
They also enjoyed the spaghetti and marshmallow challenge while Vix went along to the Avening church fete and taught the young people some circus skills
Over in Dursley the some of the young people at The Vibe volunteered at year 6 induction sessions, while Friday nights have been becoming even more popular!
In Stroud the aDOORables children enjoyed a day of puzzle while during sessions the young people have enjoyed film days including The Greatest Showman
Also in Stroud, Becky has been visiting the year 7’s in Archway school where chair stacking and Dobble have proved a hit
Over in Wotton the Baptist church held a fundraising morning for The Door.
