This month’s Director’s Chair is from CEO Victoria
This month we’ve been proud to celebrate both National Youth Work Week and Trustees’ Week — two moments that highlight the dedication, compassion and commitment at the heart of our charity. In this issue, you’ll find reflections and stories of the incredible people who make our work possible.
We’re also pleased to share an important update: our Annual Awards Evening has been rescheduled from Tuesday, 2nd December to Tuesday, 17th March 2026. This new date gives us a perfect opportunity to unveil our new five-year strategy — a vision that will guide us into an exciting new chapter. The evening will be a chance not only to celebrate the achievements of the past year but also to look ahead together with our stakeholders, service users, staff, volunteers, and friends.
Please be reassured that while the main celebration will take place in March, individual award winners will still be recognised locally in the coming weeks, ensuring their contributions are celebrated without delay.
Our work to shape the five-year strategy continues, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their insights, experiences and hopes through the consultation process. Your voices are helping us build a future rooted in purpose, inclusion and community.
As we move forward, we are reminded of these timeless words:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
A fitting reminder that with faith and service, every new beginning brings renewed hope.
