At The Door we rely on an amazing team of volunteers to assist at our fundraising events. Could you join them?

This December we are looking for volunteers to donate an hour or two of their time to support the following events:

December 4th – Food Collection at Stroud Tesco Superstore.

Every year Supported by Provident Financial The Door distribute hampers to the families that we support across the Stroud District. In addition to Provident’s contribution; this year we are holding a food collection from 10am – 4pm at the Stroud Tesco Superstore (Stratford Road) We need volunteers to hand out shopping lists to customers as they enter the store.

December 9th – Christmas Presence Concert at St Laurence Church Stroud

Mary-Jess (The Door’s Patron) returns for this year’s Christmas Concert. We are looking for volunteers to help unload and load the PA equipment (11am and 10pm respectively), assist with on the door ticket sales (7:00pm onwards) and with serving refreshments in the interval. All volunteers will receive a free ticket to the concert and a discount code for friends and family.

December 10th – Street Collection

Proven to be our most lucrative street collection each year, we are looking for at least 25 volunteers to give up just 1 hour of their Saturday morning to collect on the streets of Stroud. Cake and Coffee will be provided as always when you return to The Door. Hourly slots are available at 10am, 11am, 12 noon and 1pm. Pairs of collectors are welcome and at least one collector must be 16 years or older on December 10th.
