CHARITY DESIGN CHALLENGE 2025  (FOR ANYONE AGED 16-19 YEARS)
Entries either digital art or photos of physical art to be sent to info@thedoor.org.uk (using wetransfer if needed) by midnight on Monday 24th February 2025.
You are invited to create an image inspired by this year’s theme of ‘Joy’  Winning designs will be printed on merchandise such as t-shirts, phone cases, bags and water bottles. The merchandise will be sold by local youth charity The Door Youth Project (thedoor.org.uk) to raise funds for their work.
The theme for 2025 is “Joy,” and you can represent this in any way that inspires you. Whether that’s a physical drawing, watercolour, painting, or digital page filled with colour, we can’t wait to see what you come up with.
You do not need to be restricted by any of The Door’s usual brand guidelines but do need to consider who your target audience may be. Are you designing a product that will appeal to young people, adults or children?
All designs should be ‘appropriate’ for all ages to view and abide by the guidelines set out by Redbubble.com where the items will be sold:
this also means you should avoid the use of any existing logos, political symbols etc.
Designers should aim to create something 6000px square with as high a resolution as possible. Physical artwork can be of any size, although A5 and bigger are encouraged to ensure the quality of the image on larger items.
Once all the designs have been submitted a small panel of The Door’s staff, volunteers and trustees will vote on their favourites to be made into merchandise and sold online.
The Judges’ favourite will also receive a £20 Amazon voucher
All designs submitted to the competition become the intellectual property of The Door Youth Project who reserve the right to use the artwork in perpetuity. (Artist will be credited)
Organised in partnership with SGS College
